Our Past:
The Yakutat Community Health Center (YCHC) is owned and operated by the Yakutat Tlingit Tribe, a federally recognized tribe, and receives P.L. 93-638 funding through the Alaska Tribal Health Compact and the Health Resource Services Agency (HRSA). The Yakutat Tlingit Tribe assumed management of the Health Center from Yak-Tat Kwaan, Inc., in 1997.
It is the policy of Yakutat Community Health Center to make health care affordable by offering a sliding scale discount to patients who qualify based on family size and income level in accordance with the Federal Poverty Guidelines as published and updated annually in the Federal Register. According to this policy, patients are responsible for the payment of minimum charges or discounted charges after the discount has been taken. To see if you qualify for a discounted rate, please download and complete our Sliding Fee Application.
Our Present:
“We serve all members of the community regardless of Tribal enrollment status or ability to pay.”
